A Wick author and editor of an online LGBT magazine was interviewed by a popular blogger for a podcast recently.

Kevin Crowe from Wick was interviewed as part of the recent Book Week Scotland (BWS) by radio presenter, writer and blogger Andy N. The event was arranged by Fly On The Wall Press, publisher of Kevin's short story collection No Home In This World, and was followed by one of the stories, Texan Condoms, being read by actor Nicholas Newman.

Kevin said: "During the interview, I talk about my background, my writing, the inspiration behind some of the stories and my editorship of UnDividingLines, among other things. The story is set partly in 2017, partly in 1979 and partly in 1989, and is concerned with HIV/AIDS and in particular its random nature."

A review of No Home in this World on Amazon by Cath F described it as such: "This challenging and gritty first collection of short stories is hard hitting and thought provoking. Each one needs reflection and the experience lingers with you.

"I found myself returning to absorb and dwell on the detail. This is not necessarily a comfortable experience, but neither are the issues which Kevin shows us and explores through his writing. But despite and through the bleak despair there is the redeeming power of love and Art. Let us see more from this gifted and brave writer."
