Five players re-sign for Wick Academy

FIVE players have declared their short-term futures are with Wick Academy by putting pen to paper.
The club confirmed this week that midfielders Gary Manson, Bryan McKiddie and Craig Shearer have signed new two-and-a-half-year contracts.
Defender Shaun Sinclair and prolific forward Gary Weir have also agreed terms to stay with the club until at least January 2014.
The signatures of the five players at Harmsworth Park comes after the news that Sam Mackay has agreed to a two-and-half-year contract with Academy.
Club secretary Alan Farquhar: "The club is delighted to have secured these five players on new contracts," he said. "The club is ambitious and it was important that these talented players were retained at Wick Academy as they have all played an integral part in the club’s successes over the past three seasons in the Highland League."
