Fire services deal with Noss chimney blaze





Two fire engines were seen rushing through Wick earlier this afternoon (March 12) to attend to a burning chimney at Noss Head.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.21pm on Wednesday, 12 March to reports of a chimney fire in Noss Head near Wick.

“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the area, and crews remain in attendance.

“There are no reported casualties.”
