Farr North Community Development Trust seeks feedback over new vehicle





The Farr North Community Development Trust says it is “thrilled” to announce that it will soon have a community vehicle.

The Trust posted on social media: “This marks an exciting step towards our ambition for a community transport service for all from Forsinard to Melvich, Bettyhill to Altnaharra.”

The Trust is now seeking the views of local people on a number of issues relating to the new vehicle.

The post continued: “We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us make decisions such as what the vehicle should be used for, where to keep it, how to book it, who drives it and who looks after it.”

The Farr North Community Development Trust, which was established in August 2020, covers the parish of Farr including Forsinard, Melvich,Porstkerra, Strathy, Armadale, Bettyhill, Strathnaver and Altnaharra.
