Family history group plans trip to Caithness archives





A Caithness historical research group welcomes new members to join it for a visit to the Nucleus archive centre in Wick.

Caithness Family History Society’s next meeting is on Tuesday, May 13 at 7pm and is a members-only visit to Nucleus: the Nuclear and Caithness Archive, which is situated at Airport Industrial Estate, Wick Airport KW1 4QS. New members are very welcome.

There will be a short introductory talk about the holdings at Nucleus, followed by time in the Search Room to look at a selection of records. Nucleus houses the historical archives of the county of Caithness, which are very useful to those interested in local and family history.
