A BIG-HEARTED teenager sold some of her possessions to purchase gifts for residents at the Pentland View care home in Thurso.

Fourteen-year-old Erin MacIntosh from Halkirk bought a range of craft activity items for her granny, Isobel Cormack, and other residents at the facility. Isobel has dementia and became a resident at Pentland View in September 2018.

Erin’s grandad, Alistair Cormack, said: “I am so proud of Erin and everything that she does – she is such a caring and kind-hearted granddaughter to all her grandparents."
