Enter your Caithness photos in our 2020 calendar competition

North of Scotland Newspapers is again running a readers’ calendar photography competition to showcase Caithness in all four seasons.

It gives another opportunity to promote the rich pool of photographic talent that exists in the county.

This was amply illustrated in the range and number of entries last year. Spectacular images from across the county included beautiful reflections on a flat-calm Loch More, an alluring view of Peedie Sands, quaint cottages at Berriedale, a harvest scene at Watten and a vivid sunset at Castle Sinclair Girnigoe.

We are sure our readers will again rise to the challenge of seeking to have their images chosen for North of Scotland Newspapers' 2020 calendar. From your entries, we’ll choose the 12 images which will be used to illustrate the calendar, with the overall winning entry being given the pride of place on the front cover.

Last year's cover image was this beautiful shot of Morven from Loch More, by Cameron Chapman.

HOW TO ENTER:

Email your best shots as high-resolution jpg files (minimum 2MB), caption them with the location and send your name and phone number to editor@nosn.co.uk with “Readers’ calendar competition” in the subject line. Entries must be submitted by Friday, September 27, 2019.

By taking part, you’ll be in with a chance of having your photo included in the calendar and receiving a free copy of the final product, which will be on sale later this year.

All those whose pictures are selected for inclusion will receive a copy of this year's Caithness photo book as well as a calendar.
