Driver from Thurso had no car insurance

A Thurso driver found to have no insurance cover for his car was fined £100 at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Stewart Ross also incurred six penalty points.
The offence came to light after the 35-year-old, of Swain Road, Thurso, was stopped by police officers in the town's Heathfield Road, on December 11, last year.
