A woman who drove with excess alcohol was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid community work at Wick Sheriff Court on Thursday.

Jennifer Traynor (47), of Cairns of Stirkoke, was also banned from driving for a year after she pleaded guilty.

Traynor was stopped at Newton Road, Wick, on December 14, last year, by police who received a tip-off about the manner of her driving.

Tests revealed a breath-alcohol level of 45 mg – just over twice the legal limit of 22 mg.
