Tayside Police Division posted this message on its Facebook page saying: "On 08/08/22, during a routine vehicle stop #PerthRP traced a dog which had been reported stolen in March '22 from the Wick area.

"We think she was happy to see us and she has now been returned to her owner.

"The person she was recovered from has been reported to the courts."
