A CAITHNESS glass designer is to have his work featured at a special exhibition in Edinburgh this Summer.

Denis Mann will be showcasing his work at A Passion for Glass at the National Museum of Scotland.

The show will display a comprehensive collection of modern glass by artists from across the world.

It forms part of a collection of modern glass recently gifted to National Museums Scotland by Alan J Poole and the late Dan Klein who set up North Lands Creative Glass at Lybster in 1996.

Denis’s exhibition piece is an enamelled and engraved creation titled The Salmon of Wisdom.

It is just one of over 140 objects from over 100 different makers that will be displayed as part of the exhibition
