Castletown road closed after car hits hydro pole

The B876 Reiss/Castletown road was closed for a time today after a car hit a hydro pole at the bends near the Poolhoy turn-off.

A police spokesperson said the accident at 9am involved one car. The driver did not require treatment.

Diversions were put in place while repairs were made. Some residents in the area experienced disruption to their power supply.
