A CAITHNESS charity that aims to promote the fitness and well-being of local kids has been busy raising charity cash.
Active Kids had some of its members help out at the annual Cyder Cup golfing challenge in Thurso and together with some other fundraising activities on the day managed to raise £2400.
Sarah Dunnett from the Active Kids committee, together with Thurso members, was presented with a cheque for the amount by Anne Mackay from the TSB. Anne is also a member of Active Kids and her bank has chosen the organisation as its charity of choice for 2019.
A quiz night in Wick hosted over 100 people and raised £1,200 towards the charity as well.
