Caithness mart prices from Quoybrae, Aberdeen and Northern Marts

Quoybrae, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (April 18) sold 619 store cattle.

Bullocks (357) averaged 247.3p to 306p per kg for a pen of 250kg Limousin Crosses from Borrowston Mains, Dounreay and £1740 gross for a 758kg Simmental Cross from Brae Edge, Castletown.

Heifers (262) averaged 234.8p to 293.7p per kg for a pen of 252kg Limousin Crosses from Borrowston Mains and £1565 gross for a 693kg Simmental Cross from Ha, Durran.
