Caithness Heart Support Group bowled over by St Fergus club's donation

Caithness Heart Support Group received an early Christmas present at its annual festive coffee morning at the Norseman Hotel, Wick.

The group was presented with a £500 donation from the town's St Fergus Bowling Club.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of the group is Joyce Macdonald (centre), with club president Colin Stewart (left) and club treasurer Janice Campbell.

The heart group raises funds for the purchase of cardiac equipment for the county's two hospitals and GP surgeries.
