To kickstart the events for the year, members of Norscot’s team are taking part in the Million Steps for Mikeysline fundraising initiative.

This year-long partnership will provide lots of opportunities for the Norscot team to take part in and organise different fundraising events as well as the opportunity to get involved in volunteering opportunities alongside the charity.

For over 38 years’ Norscot has been manufacturing superior quality timber frame kit homes; timber, upvc and aluwood made-to-measure windows, doors and conservatories from its state-of-the-art factory and showroom in Bower, Caithness. It also owns a purpose-built showroom, sales office and storage facility on the Carse Industrial Estate in Inverness.

Callum Grant, managing director at Norscot comments: “We are delighted to be working with Mikeysline as our charity partner for this year.

"Mikeysline provides much-needed support to people suffering from mental health issues across the region and we have a few initiatives planned to take place over the next 12 months.”

Emily Stokes, Mikeysline CEO added: “We are absolutely delighted to be working in partnership with Norscot.

"Their support will help us to continue to support adults and young people who are in emotional distress or struggling with their mental health and help us to raise awareness of our services across Highland and Moray. This good news has come at a crucial time when many people are struggling and our services are needed more than ever so we are very grateful to Norscot.”
