Highland Council warn of black ice on Caithness roads this morning.

Caithness

Posted at 8.22am. White frost with sparkle and black ice areas. Rain, sleet and hale showers. All routes being treated. No Overnight issues.

Sutherland

Posted at 8.17am. Frost affecting all routes with icy patches on the east coast routes and a light covering of snow on some of the higher routes. All routes treated. No overnight issues.

Ross and Cromarty East Posted at 8.05am. Patchy frost and ice affecting most routes. Light snow fall on the highest roads with sleet and rain on lower grounds. All routes being treated.
