Banniskirk emerged with most points overall in the annual West of Caithness SWI Bulb Show, held in the Royal British Legion club in Thurso.

Murkle's Joanna Mackay was the member with most points and she also took the cup for best exhibit.

The show committee was delighted with the amount of entries from members whose hard work ensured a beautiful display.

The bulb exhibits were judged by Jeanette Coghill and Margaret Murray.

Joanna Mackay welcomed members from all over the county and others who had come along to support the show.

Tea and baking was supplied by Spittal SWI, while Banniskirk members were in charge of the raffle and flower squares board.

Bulb show committee member Isobel MacKenzie presented the trophies.
