Banniskirk and District SWI members enjoy demonstration of French beading from Lybster's JP Craftwork

Banniskirk and District Scottish Women's Institute (SWI) welcomed Jane Pullen from JP Craftwork in Lybster to their latest meeting.

Jane gave a very interesting demonstration on French beading. The beading can be made into flower shapes and used for vases, brooches, necklaces and ornaments.

Jane kindly judged the competitions for the evening.

Gingerbread: 1 – Kate Campbell, 2 – Fran Manners, 3 – Anne Gunn, 4 – Isobel Mackenzie, 5 – Irene Morris.

Child's knitted item (any yarn): 1 – Fran Manners, 2 – Kate Campbell, 3 – Irene Morris, 4 – Jan Falconer.

Raffles were won by: Jan Falconer, Margaret George, Christine Tait, Kate Campbell, Irene Morris and Isobel Paul.

Hostesses for the evening were Isobel Paul and Irene Morris.
