Bail breach lands Thurso teen behind bars
A THURSO teenager was remanded in custody on Thursday after admitting breaching his bail conditions.
Dominic Long (17), of Ormlie Crescent, appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court for the second time this week after failing to sign in at Wick Police Station on Tuesday.
Long appeared from custody on Monday when he denied shouting, swearing and threatening violence on Sunday at the town’s Albyn Court.
When he was released on bail earlier this week, he was ordered to report to his local police station every day as he awaits trial over the allegation of threatening and abusive behaviour, which comes while Long is on bail from two other matters at the court dating back to February 27 and September 28.
Sheriff Andrew Berry remanded Long in custody for the preparation of reports.
He will appear again on October 29.
