MILLER Academy held a whole school ‘Together Time’ on the last morning of term to celebrate their children’s many achievements throughout this last academic year.

A slide show shared some of the many photos of events that the children had been involved in. These included the likes of wearing colourful clothes to school for their ‘Junior Road Safety Officers’ road safety ‘Bright Day’, fundraising which the children and their families took part in for MacMillan, Children in Need and Ukraine, the wonderfully happy family Jubilee celebrations, celebrations for‘Maths Week Scotland’, Sports Day and more.

During this songs were also sung and prizes awarded such as Miller’s P7 sports champions. This year, the girls' champion was awarded to Lily McEwen and the boys' champion was shared between Calder MacDonald and Nathan Fraser.

Headteacher, Mrs Budge, said: "It was really lovely to all get together for a whole school end of school year assembly and the staff and I are so very proud of everything which our children have achieved."
