Police in the Highlands are appealing for information following the theft of a large number of collectible items from a property in the Lybster area.

The theft is believed to have taken place between Tuesday, August 29 and Tuesday, September 19.

The property, located on the Lybster to Achavanich road, was broken into and approximately 200 Corgi truck models were stolen, with an estimated four-figure total value.

Officers are asking anyone with information on the break-in and theft, or who may have come across these items for sale somewhere in person or online, to please come forward.

If you believe you can assist with the enquiries, you can contact police on 101, quoting incident 1275 of September, 19. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.
