Pixel Spirits Distillery & Gin School is the first and only gin and craft distillery in Lochaber.
Founded by husband and wife team Craig and Noru Innes, this distillery has been self-built from scratch with the help of various friends and family members! This is in the core of their values – hand-crafted, bespoke and personal.
The gins from this distillery are truly small batch (less than 80 bottles per batch), bottled and labelled by hand and each bottle individually numbered and signed by Craig, the Master Distiller.
Their signature products are Devil's Staircase, a Highland Spiced Gin, and Drookit Piper, a Highland Citrus Gin.
Devil's Staircase is named after a steep mountain ascent on the West Highland Way with flavours of beautiful citrus zest, warm cardamom and nutmeg. Drookit Piper, by contrast, has the flavours of zesty pomelo and juicy orange, with fresh aromatic notes added by kaffir lime leaves – perfect libation on any bonnie or drookit day!
Quirky label designs and artwork are by the legendary Scottish illustrator Iain McIntosh, who has been featured in the National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh.
On top of their own products Pixel Spirits also offer tailor-made gins for restaurants, bars and other companies who wish to impress their clientele with something completely unique and personal. From creating the perfect recipe to bottling and bespoke label design – they can offer the whole package!
For individuals wanting to learn about gin making and creating their own uber small batch gin, Pixel Spirits Gin School (first distillation experience in Scotland) offers the opportunity to develop your own recipe and make your very own bottle of gin using one of their copper mini stills and to take home a bottle of your own creation!
