BURNS - Peacefully, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, with his family by his side, on Sunday, 12th May, 2019, Dr. Ian Burns, aged 87 years, of Wick, beloved husband of Katie, dearly loved dad of Jane Anne, Niall, Mairi and Michael and a much loved grandpa and good father, RIP. Remains to be received into St. Joachim's RC Church, Malcolm Street, Wick, on Thursday, 23rd May, at 6.45pm. Funeral on Friday, 24th May, Requiem Mass in church at 12.00 noon, thereafter to Wick Cemetery, cortege arriving at 1.00pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but, if desired, a retiring collection will be taken at the church for Ian's favourite charities.
