ABERNETHY - Peacefully, at Pulteney House, Wick, on Friday, 26th June, 2020, James Allan aged 100 years. Loving husband of the late Margaret, proud dad to Bill and Wilson and much loved father-in-law, grandpa, great-grandpa and uncle. Allan came to Wick in 1951 where he had a long career teaching PE in local primary schools and in Wick High School. He was a keen member of Wick Golf Club, Caithness Field Club and Scout Leader. He enthusiastically embraced all things Wick and had many dear colleagues and friends. Allan will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service, in accordance with Covid restrictions, at Wick New Cemetery on Tuesday, 7th July, service commencing at 11.00am.
