McBOYLE - Ishbel and the family of the late Fred McBoyle would like to express their gratitude for the overwhelming support and encouragement afforded them through prayer and sympathy messages of all kinds, from family, work colleagues and friends, both locally and from around the world. The nursing care given to Fred during his final ten weeks, both at Raigmore Hospital and, finally, at Highland Hospice was of superlative quality and caused him to give responsive smiles as long as he remained conscious. To Sanders and team of Clair Harper and Son, Funeral Directors, we cannot commend you enough for the speed and efficiency of all arrangements at such short notice. To Buds 'N' Blooms, Thurso and The Flower Patch, Wick, we say the floral tributes were a sight to behold. The conduction of the service and gospel message delivered by Mr Murray Graham in the church and at the graveside were a comfort indeed to sad but thankful hearts. Also the attendance of so very many friends and family, across large distances, at short notice and during the disrupted travel of our chaotic times was very touching. Finally, the catering of The Ulbster Arms Hotel, Halkirk was excellent and so cordially served, despite the intermittent arrival of family and friends. Thank you to all concerned and to God be the Glory. A total of £2000 was collected at the service for Highland Hospice.
