CARTER - The family of the late Jean would like to offer their sincere thanks to the many people who showed them kindness and support during her short illness and in the time since she sadly left them. Thanks to the Bignold Ward, Caithness General Hospital, for the kindness shown to Jean and her family and to the two Ians from Bettyhill ambulance service for their attention to detail. Heartfelt thanks to the community nurses from the Durness Practice and all agencies involved who so quickly and professionally arranged for her to go home. To Mairi Eastcroft and Dr. Sally Melville for their compassionate care and attention in her final days; they will be forever grateful. Also to Kenny MacRae & Sons for their efficient and sympathetic arrangements and to the Rev. Andrea Boyes for the comforting and fitting service. Thanks to the Sango Sands Oasis for providing delicious refreshments. Finally, thank you to everyone who came to pay their last respects and who kindly donated £1,400 to local Community Nursing Equipment.
