VANDALS damaged seven cars in Thurso as police are carrying out investigations to find out who was reponsible.
Reports have been received of a number of vehicles being damaged while parked in the Park Avenue, Springpark Terrace and Murkle View area between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Seven reports of damage have been made to police, with all of the vehicles involved having suffered bodywork damage such as having their wing mirrors broken off.
Officers are keen to speak to a group of men who were seen in the area at around the time the damage would have been caused.
Caithness area inspector Nick Clasper said: "This kind of behaviour is completely selfish and unnecessary, as well as being a source of great frustration to the victims.
"I would ask people in that area to check their vehicles and report any damage if they haven't already done so."I would also urge anyone who saw anything suspicious on that night to contact us on 101, quoting reference NJ5515/17, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
