 POLICE are appealing for information about an alleged road rage incident in Thurso on Wednesday.

 

It happened  about 5.30pm near Thurso Swimming Pool and involved  a female car driver being assaulted by the male driver of a white Ford  Transit van. The woman was uninjured but   shaken by the experience.

Inspector Marlene Macdonald   said: "The two vehicles were stopped in the carriageway while this   incident was ongoing.

"We are asking anyone  who witnessed what happened or was in the area at the time to get in touch  with us."

Anyone with   information should call police in Thurso on 101, quoting reference NJ355/18,   or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
