CAITHNESS businesswoman Amanda Coghill is the only Scottish representative in the UK Florist of the Year competition.
She qualified for one of the four places in the final at heats held in Birmingham.
Each competitor had to produce a floral headpiece, a floral handbag, a foliage cushion and a surprise item over the two days of the competition, which was part of the Gardeners World live event at Birmingham NEC.
Amanda, who has won titles at the Chelsea Flower Show, is now looking forward to the final at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole on Saturday, October 21.
The 32-year-old started her own business in Dempster Street in Wick in 2006 but has been freelance since 2013.
