Wick Community Campus has suffered damage to its roof as a result of gale force winds which have blasted the county.

Damage has been caused to the roof of the Wick campus gym causing the metal flashing around a roof light to become detached.

The school was already closed to pupils today due to the adverse weather. High Life Highland’s facilities were open, however everyone was evacuated safely from the site, as a precaution at 2pm today.
