OVER £5000 of Cannabis has been recovered after a police raid at a property in Wick.
Police said a quantity of Class B drugs was found at a house at Wellington Street on Wednesday night.
Police confirmed herbal cannabis worth approximately £5400 was seized during the raid.
A 36-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery and will appear at Wick Sheriff Court.
Caithness area Inspector Nick Clasper said: “Our communities have made it very clear that they will not tolerate the use and trade in illegal drugs.
“We are committed to tackling the problem.”
