Wick Wheelers: Miller wins first two time trials

Danny Miller has led the way in the opening two weeks of Wick Wheelers’ 10-mile time trial season.

In the first event, conditions were reasonable for the time of year and times were generally very good.

Week one times: 1 Danny Miller, 24.01; 2 Ewen Scott, 28.12; 3 Michael Duffy, 28.41; 4 Charlie Mackay, 29.02; 5 Lisa Coghill, 34.58.

Conditions were much colder in the second week, 8C with wind-chill down to 4C, and riders were noticeably slower.

Week two times: 1 Danny Miller, 26.14; 2 Derek Fraser, 30.08; 3 Charlie Mackay, 32.08.
