THE annual presentations for Caithness Gymnastics Club were held last Friday in the Pentland Hotel, Thurso.

Gymnasts and their families were invited to the event, which traditionally rounds off the current gymnastics year, with the club now closed until after the school holidays. The presentations were made by the club chairperson, Julia Mulvey, head coach Kerry Trueman and artistic club coach Sheenagh Christie, with rhythmic gymnastics club coach Diane Gibson announcing the winners. Assistant coaches Hannah Sinclair, Valerie Gilmour, Laura Gulloch, Kyla Mackay, Gillian Allan, Lora-Jane Dillon and Gemma Wares were all there to watch the presentations. Before and after the presentations there was music from RG's Disco. Junior artistic most improved runner-up: Erin Britton. Junior artistic most improved: Andrea Cormack. Junior artistic gymnast of the year: Hollie Whitson TeamGym most improved runner-up: Shauna MacLeod. TeamGym most improved: Heather Bain TeamGym gymnast of the year: Amy Main. Rhythmic recreational most improved runner-up: Corinne Furniss. Rhythmic recreational most improved: Carly Ferrier. Rhythmic recreational gymnast of the year: Charlotte Mitchell.
Rhythmic junior most improved: Erika Hodgson. Rhythmic junior gymnast of the year: Hannah Davidson. Artistic development squad most improved runner-up: Rosie Fidler. Artistic development squad most improved: Anna Stanger. Artistic development squad gymnast of the year: Leoni Shearer. Rhythmic development most improved runner-up: Lauren Thain. Rhythmic development most improved: Laura Davidson. Rhythmic development gymnast of the year: Hanna Lalmahamode. Artistic seniors most improved runner-up: Kelly Campbell. Artistic seniors most improved: Emma Budge. Artistic senior gymnast of the year: Chelsea Cormack.
