THIS year's Comic Relief fundraising extravaganza occurred during the prelims so it was a smaller event than Wick High's annual Children in Need day. A guess-the-baby competition was held and 11 victims allowed their precious baby pictures to be passed round and admired.

A CHEER erupted as our plane touched down. Breathing in the Krakow air, we could not believe we had finally arrived; delight swept through us all as we were reunited with our Polish families. Our long-awaited trip to this beautiful city had just begun.

AS reported in the local press, Wick High School is going to introduce a strict dress code for its pupils. This will involve pupils in wearing either a white shirt or polo shirt, a blazer (optional), black trousers, and black trainers or dress shoes.
