Does Caithness have enough wind farms? Published: 11 March, 2010 No - Our county has vast areas of open space that is truly ideal for wind turbines. I see no harm associated with these machines and to me they visually enhance our desolate open spaces. They also don't leave radioactive waste behind when they are finally dismantled.
