No - Our county has vast areas of open space that is truly ideal for wind turbines. I see no harm associated with these machines and to me they visually enhance our desolate open spaces. They also don't leave radioactive waste behind when they are finally dismantled. Robert Sinclair Shand, Wick

No - Why? More words on a sign = bigger signs (more distractions for drivers) = more metal and ink = more costs. Money should be spent on upgrading roads instead. English is easier for tourists to read. Stirkoke

Yes - While I am in favour of big guns getting in to bring forward the 'retail experience' (sick) they need competition between themselves. Dane Miller

Yes - Asda in Thurso will make the competition stiffer I know, but then with competition comes more competitive prices and bringing new companies into the area brings more jobs and more choice. Linda Brotherston
