Tracy Williamson graduated with a first-class honours degree in Business Management from Glasgow Caledonian University. She was also awarded the Caledonian Business School prize for the best student on the BA (Hons) Business and Management course. Tracy is the daughter of Jack and Annette Williamson, River View, Thurso, and the granddaughter of William and the late Catherine Sutherland.

David Wilson has graduated from the Scottish Agricultural College, Aberdeen, with a BSc (Hons) (2:1) in Agriculture. David is a former pupil of Watten Primary School and Wick High, and is the eldest son of Pattie and Pat Wilson, Backlass, Watten.

Janice Young graduated from Christchurch University, Kent, with a BSc (Hons) (2:1) in Psychiatric Health. Janice's mother-in-law, Kate Young, and sisters-in-law Cathy and Helen, live in Thurso.

Pat Wilson graduated from the North Highland College UHI with a BA in Child and Youth Studies. Pat lives near Watten with husband Pattie and three sons, David, Calvin and Mark.

Kerry Watt graduated with an MA (Hons) degree in English from the University of Aberdeen. Kerry attended Wick South Primary School and Wick High School, as well as Fraserburgh Academy. Her parents, Malcolm and Anna, now live in Alness. Kerry is the granddaughter of Muriel Watt, Willowbank, Wick, and Wilma Sutherland, Vansittart Street, Wick.

Andrew B. Wilson graduated from the University of Dundee with a BA in Education in the Community. Andrew is a former pupil of Wick High School and musician in the Queen’s Own Highlanders Regimental Band. His parents live in Lyth.

Sean Wyllie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary). Sean is the youngest son of Ed and Alison Wyllie, Bishop’s Drive, West Gills, Thurso. He will be taking up a post in Caithness in August.

Steven Williams, BSc, from Murkle, has been awarded MBChB with honours and the William Leslie Gold Medal from the University of Edinburgh Medical School. He was also awarded the Ettles Scholarship as the most distinguished MBChB graduate of his year. Dr Williams is to take up a foundation doctor post in surgery at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in August.

Kenny White, Lerwick, graduated from Inverness College UHI with an HNC in Civil Engineering. He is the second son of Gerry and Sheila White and the grandson of Alex and Anna Cunningham, Dunbeath.

Angela Watt, daughter of Raymond and Tracy Watt, of Seaforth Avenue, Wick, has graduated with a diploma in Higher Education Adult Nursing from the University of Stirling. Angela has now taken up a post in Caithness General Hospital.

Gary Watkin, son of Deirdre (formerly Seaforth Road, Thurso) and Timothy (Dunnet) has graduated from Strathclyde University with First Class Honours in Architectural Studies. Gary will continue studying at Strathclyde University for a Masters Degree in Architecture.
