Valerie Forsyth

Valerie Forsyth graduated from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, with a BA in Public Health Nursing – Specialist Practice Health Visiting. She is currently working as a bank health visitor in Fraserburgh. Valerie, a former pupil of Thurso High School, is the younger daughter of Molly and the late Bill Sinclair. She lives in Ellon, with husband Gordon and daughters Lisa, Sarah and Linzi.

Colin Farquhar

Colin Farquhar graduated BSc (Hons) in Psychology at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. A former pupil of Pulteneytown Academy and Wick High, Colin is taking a year out to work at Disneyworld, Florida. His parents, Eric and Franky Farquhar, live in Loch Street, Wick.

Kirsty Dickson

Kirsty Dickson, of Thurso, graduated from Lancaster University with a BSc (Hons) (2:1) as a nurse practitioner. She is the youngest daughter of Joan and the late Jimmy Miller, Barrock, and originally trained and qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1989 in Glasgow. She works at the Princes Street Surgery in Thurso.

Michael Doig

Michael Doig has graduated with a master’s degree in Chemical Physics with honours from the University of Edinburgh. Son of Michael and Kezia Doig, Thurso, Michael is a former pupil of Pennyland Primary School and Thurso High.

William Fraser

William Fraser graduated from the University of St Andrews with a BSc (Hons) (2:1) in Maths-Physics. He is the son of Moray and Una Fraser and a former pupil of Canisbay Primary School and Wick High.

Leanne Deighan, youngest daughter of Willie and Barbara, has recently graduated from the University of Abertay with a BA in Learning Difficulties/Disabilities. Leanne is a former pupil of Thurso High School and Mount Pleasant Primary School.
