Goals from Davie Allan, Stevie Cunningham and Richard Macadie gave Wick Academy its most impressive win of the season so far at Bellslea.

Within five minutes, Allan set the tone for the afternoon when he was on the receiving end of an exquisite pass down the middle from Sam Mackay to slot past David Leask.

Cunningham then got on the scoresheet seven minutes into the second half when Allan played provider down the right wing to tee up the midfielder who drilled his shot low and hard from the front corner of the box to beat Leask at the bottom of his far post.

Macadie then added a third for Academy on 63 minutes, when he had an easy tap-in from a Michael Steven header which came off the post.

Fraserburgh pulled one back in injury time through a Dean Cowie penalty after Shaun Sinclair brought down Allan Hale in the box.

Post match reaction from Davie Kirkwood and Kris Hunter in Wednesday's Caithness Courier.
