THURSO professional footballer Gary Mackay-Steven has signed a two year deal to join Aberdeen.
The Dons website has confirmed the 26-year-old has joined from Celtic and could be in line to make his debut against Bosnian club NK Siroki Brijeg in the Europa League tomorrow night.
Mackay-Steven formerly played for Ross County, Liverpool, Airdrie United and Dundee United before joining Celtic in January 2015.
He has also earned one cap for Scotland against the United States in November 2013.
Aberdeen finished second in the Scottish Premiership last season and reached two cup finals losing both to Celtic.
