A TRIO of Wickers have started a new group to clean up the town’s riverside area and improve walkways from overgrown vegetation.

Charlie Bain, Doreen Gow and Ruth Falconer are taking on roles that were formerly done by the council but with cutbacks, many of the town’s walkways and beauty spots are in danger of being engulfed in weeds and foliage.
