A man who turned his council home into a cannabis factory in Thurso was jailed for two years.
Clive Howard had bypassed an electricity supply in order to power an operation worth £123,000 which could have caused a fire or explosion.
Howard (45) pleaded guilty to producing cannabis and recklessly by-passing the electricity supply to the danger of himself and others from fire or explosion on June 14, 2016.
At Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday he was jailed for 24 months.
