A THURSO man who admitted carrying out two hammer attacks has been jailed for three years.
Jason Reilly (25), whose address was given as Inverness Prison, appeared at Wick Sheriff Court when he pleaded guilty to four counts of assault on May 4 in Thurso.
During an evening which Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood said that Reilly seemed to attack anyone who he came across, Reilly hit a man and a woman with a hammer at St John’s House.
The accused carried out two more attacks when he forced his way into an address at Brownhill Road where he assaulted a man before heading to Naver Park where he punched and kicked another man to the head.
Sheriff Fleetwood backdated his sentence to Tuesday, May 8.
