BEAR Scotland has announced it will be carrying out resurfacing work at three different locations across the county at trunk roads this month.
Work started on the A99 at Occumster on Monday and is expected to be finished by Thursday.
BEAR Scotland has also announced resurfacing work will also take place on the A99 at Borrowston near Thrumster on Monday, March 20.
It estimates resurfacing work will take two days to complete.
In addition, resurfacing works will take place on the A9 at Mybster which will start on Monday, March 27.
It is predicted refurbishment work will take six days to carry out.
The roads will remain open at all three locations but a 10mph convoy system of traffic management will be in place during working hours.
The convoy will be removed overnight, however, a 30mph speed limit will remain in place as traffic will be travelling over a temporary surface to keep road workers and motorists safe.
