A TARTAN and tiara ball staged by a local community group has been hailed as a "tremendous success".

 

The event, organised by members of Keiss Family Community Project, raised £1200 towards the regeneration of the village's play facilities.

NOSN Charity of the Year STAFF at the Groat office in Wick hope to take another step towards their goal of helping the community next week. A bake sale will be held at North of Scotland Newspapers' base in the town's Union Street on Friday as part of its Charity of the Year initiative.
