Last post sounds for long serving mail duo

AFTER delivering a first-class service for more than two decades, Ronnie and Marty Risbridger yesterday pulled down the shutters for the last time on the busy post office they have run in Wick.

The closure of the post office, which the couple took over in April 1995, marked the first day of the pair’s well-earned retirement.

Over the past few weeks, they have been inundated with customers coming in to thank them for their years of service and to wish them all the best for the future.
