Keiss youngsters set for Barnardo's Big Toddle

SOME small steps are to be taken towards a big goal this weekend as Keiss youngsters take part in a charity walk.

Barnardo’s Scotland has organised its 15th annual Big Toddle event when hundreds of under-fives from around the country will take part in sponsored walks.

Parents in Caithness are being encouraged to come along to Keiss tomorrow to help support the children’s charity as well as the regeneration of the village through the Keiss Family Community Project.

The event is for under-fives and is to start at midday at the village football pitch.

This year’s Big Toddle has a superhero theme, which will see youngsters up and down the country grab their capes and take flight.

There will be stalls organised by and to raise money for the Keiss Family Community Project, which is looking to raise enough money to completely revamp the village’s play facilities.
