A MAN has finished running the length of Scotland in just 10 days to raise money for a charity established in memory of his grandmother.
New Zealander James Milne completed the 567km challenge between Gretna Green and John O’Groats, arriving at the famous Caithness signposts on Tuesday.
The strength conditioning coach, who lives in Kuwait, took part in the challenge in memory of his grandmother, Mary Milne, who passed away in 1999 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
After her death, James set up the New Zealand-based charity Many Miles for Mary to raise money for charities which tackle the illness.
He said the endurance challenge was the fifth and probably the final one he would be taking part in. He has raised over £18,500.
