A NEW care partnership which has been formed in Caithness will meet for the first time next week.
Caithness District Partnership will meet in public in Wick on Tuesday afternoon. The group was set up as part of new arrangements under the Integrating Care in the Highlands partnership between NHS Highland and the Highland Council.
It will identify key local issues and priorities for children and adults in Caithness that can be better delivered through joint working.
Local Highland councillors will be in attendance along with an NHS board member, officials from the statutory agencies, plus a representative from the voluntary and independent sectors.
The first meeting will outline how business will be conducted and will highlight some of the key issues that need to be addressed. The meeting will be held at the Pulteney Centre at 2pm.
