Archaeologists unearth evidence of Iron Age settlement

ARCHAEOLOGISTS have made an exciting discovery of a suspected Iron Age settlement in east Caithness.    

The group from Orkney was surveying a broch site near the old Bruan kirk, adjoining the A99, when it uncovered evidence that pointed to the existence of an ancient building.    

Initial speculation points to the possibility that it could be an Iron Age home known as a wag.
